How much does a website redesign cost in Malaysia?
A full redesign costs the same as a new build, because the work is the same. If your site already works and only needs fixing, the two-week Sprint covers it at RM 4,500 to RM 6,000.

Every build carries a 30-day defect-fix warranty at no charge. After that, maintenance is optional and starts at RM 500 a month.
Can I capitalise or deduct the cost of a website?
It depends on what the site is for. Under MFRS, a site built mainly to promote your firm is an expense when you pay for it. The tax side is a separate question for your tax agent. We set out what MASB and LHDN say, stage by stage.
When should I hire a freelancer instead?
When the site is small, the words and photos are ready, and only your own office signs it off. Then a good freelancer is the right answer, and we will tell you so.
